Our family has been in the ranching business for five generations, our grandkids are the sixth generation. We have ranched and raised horses in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arizona. We strive to keep ranching and raising our horses the way our forefathers did. We raise our colts outside in nature’s elements. Our horses are raised and used on our ranches. We believe a horse should be a horse and used in ranch work, and then whomever buys them has a great foundation to go on to any discipline they choose.

~ Flying V Lannie ~ 2020 Black Gelding
Lannie, like all our horses, was raised in the rocky mountainous terrain of southern Arizona. He has been described as a cat in the rocks. The rocks and cedars of northwestern New Mexico were never a problem with his background. Kyle always has 1st dibs on any colts out of Flying V Kitty. Lannie is like all of her colts, quick and cowy – which makes him an excellent calf or heel horse prospect. Lots of cattle sorted, calves drug to the fire, outside cattle roped on him and led back to the pens or trailer. He will always be black and good looking.

~ Flying V Haystack ~ 2025 Sorrel Stud Colt
Haystack will be as big as a haystack, but will be an athlete with lots of cow. Colts out of this mare have always been good ones! He’s really smart with a good attitude!
AQHA Ranching Heritage Bred and eligible for all Ranching Heritage events.

~ Flying V One Stop ~ 2025 Sorrel Filly
This curious filly is always the first one to want to be caught. One Stop wants to participate and do whatever is asked of her. Bess always puts a good mind on her cowy, athletic colts.
